Catalogues of the project partners:

Tuebingen University Library Catalogue

The Tuebingen University Library catalogue contains catalogue entries of the complete literature on Ancient Near Eastern Studies acquired by Tuebingen University Library and also the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Studies (Altorientalisches Seminar). Titles of books, periodicals and other media can be searched for in the catalogue, but as a rule articles contained in periodicals and collections cannot be searched for. A subject OPAC for Ancient Near Eastern Studies is currently being set up.

Virtual Catalogue of the Special Subject Collection Middle East/North Africa

This virtual catalogue contains catalogue entries of the complete collection of material in this special subject collection which was held by Tuebingen University Library till 1997 when it was then passed on to and further developed by the University and State Library Halle. Titles from the special subject collection Ancient Near Eastern Studies are also included in this virtual catalogue which is a service provided by Karlsruhe University Library.

German Archaeological Institute (DAI): Central online catalogue (ZENON DAI) and Archaeological Bibliography

The union catalogue ZENON DAI contains details of books and journal articles (around 710,000 items at present), from nine DAI libraries, including the holdings in Rome, Athens, Istanbul and Madrid. It is possible to search either in the catalogues of the individual departments, or across all departments together.

Three subject bibliographies are integrated into ZENON DAI, which can be accessed online via the use of a thesaurus.

German Protestant Institute for Archaeology of the Holy Land (GPIA Amman)

The catalogue of the GPIA contains around 9000 monographs (as of Spring 2007).

Oriental Institute Chicago

Search possibilities for, amongst other subjects, Ancient Near Eastern literature held by the Oriental Institute in Chicago.
