Propylaeum-DOK supports the open and free of charge access to academic information on the internet, and also the electronic publishing in Open Access.

Propylaeum-DOK – Publication Platform for Classical Studies

Propylaeum-DOK, the full-text server of Propylaeum, the virtual subject library for classical studies, is maintained by the University Library of Heidelberg. This publication platform offers scholars all over the world the opportunity to publish their texts on Classical Philology free of charge. In accordance with the principles of Open Access, the publications are available free of charge on the world-wide web. The works are archived in permanently citable fashion with the help of standardized addresses (URN) and metadata (OAIPMH).
