Currently there are around 550 digitized volumes from the area of Classical Studies in the collection. The process of digitization will continue and should eventually cover all publications of the EFA.
There are currently about 30 digitized volumes of relevance to Classical Studies available in the Digital Collection of the Warburg Institute, dating from the 16th to the 18th Centuries.
The digital Library of the Tufts University contains different
full-text collections, among the resources a papyrus-collection, classical texts as well as plans, figures and maps.
The collection comprises research literature from the holdings of the respective special collections of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (approximately 10.000 digitalized documents from the time period of 1800 to 1870). The collection is progressively enhanced. Full text search options are available under PropylaeumSEARCH.
The French national library digitizes literature related to Classical Studies. The collection contains around 500 titles at the moment, which can also be printed on demand. When searching for titles the categories “mots du titre”, “auteur”, “sujet” and “recherche libre” can be used.
There are specialised collections available for Egyptology, Ancient History, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Byzantine Studies, Classical Archaeology, Classical Philology, Medieval and Neo-Latin Philology and Pre- and Early History..
