Classical Studies Research – Subject Databases

Subject specific excerpts from the Datenbank-Infosystem (DBIS - Database Information System), conceived and  run by the University of Regensburg, allow direct access to relevant Classical Studies databases, in the areas of Egyptology, Ancient History, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Byzantine Studies, Classical Archaeology, Classical Philology, Medieval and Neo-Latin Philology and Pre- and Early History. The availability of each database is displayed and depends upon the database licences that your institution has acquired. Currently around 600 Classical Studies databases are listed, of which many are freely available on the Internet.
